Afro-Bieb wants to collaborate as much as possible with other organisations in the (literary-cultural) field in order to join forces. This involves not only project-based collaboration, but also entering into structural relationships and cooperation.

Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam

Together with the Amsterdam Public Library, OBA, we are building our book collection as a co-creation under the banner of House of All Languages. There we work with multiple partner organisations on new book collections and literary public programmes. It will be an exchange of stories and characters between the more than 180 nationalities and 360 different languages that the city has to offer.

AF

Landelijke Afrikadag

AIMIRO Mediahuis will present itself at the Africa Day organized annually in November by the Max van der Stoel Foundation. AIMIRO Mediahuis has participated in the past. The first time, it contributed to a thematic meeting (sustainable stability and the influence of the elite of East African countries in Europe). The second time the contribution consisted of a lecture on African literature, promoting it, and a call for the collection of literature for the Afro-Bieb (and the House of All Languages).

Other OrganizationsAndere organisaties

We are currently working with a number of organizations. We also want to further expand our existing (ad hoc) collaboration with a number of other organizations focused on the exchange of culture, knowledge, and expertise with countries in Africa, such as the Royal Tropical Institute, Black Archives, Africa in the Picture and ZAM.

In addition, we will explore opportunities for new collaborations (and enter into them if they are beneficial to both parties). These include Ubuntopia, The African Calendar, Afrodelics, OMEK and El Hizjra Casa Sofia.
